Authentication & condition guide
Know what you are buying, how it is checked, and how to review its authentication record.
Authentication at OFFMARC
OFFMARC uses CheckCheck to verify supported products and provides the associated authentication certificate to the customer. Authentication and condition are separate checks: an authenticity result does not describe how much an item has been worn or whether its packaging is perfect.
1. Review the product details
Start with the brand, model, size, condition and included accessories on the product listing. These details describe the item you are ordering.
2. CheckCheck verification
For supported brands and product types, item photographs are submitted to CheckCheck for authentication. The review focuses on the details relevant to that product, such as its construction, labels, branding and identifying marks.
3. Your authentication record
For products verified through CheckCheck, we provide the associated certificate or authentication record. Keep it with your order details so you can refer to the result later.
CheckCheck coverage depends on the brand and product type. A listing in our store does not, by itself, mean that CheckCheck supports that category. If certificate coverage is important to your purchase, contact OFFMARC with the product link before ordering.
Your certificate, explained
The authentication record relates to the specific item submitted for review. Use the verification link, CheckID or QR code supplied with the record, where available, to view the result through CheckCheck.
If you cannot find or open the record for your order, contact us with your order number and product name so we can help you locate it.
A certificate is an authentication record. It is not a manufacturer warranty or a guarantee of an item's condition, fit or future performance.
Condition guide
Read the condition label together with the product description and any item-specific notes. The guide below explains the terms; it does not mean every condition is offered for every product.
- Brand new
- An item described as new and unworn or unused. Check the listing for packaging details: this label alone does not promise an undamaged original box, tags or every accessory.
- Pre-owned or used
- An item that has previously been worn or used. Refer to its specific description for wear, marks, alterations and included accessories. Ask for clarification if those details are missing.
- Packaging and accessories
- Boxes, dust bags, tags, spare laces and other extras are separate from the item's condition. Rely on what the listing explicitly includes.
We do not assign an A, B or C condition grade in this guide. If a listing uses an unfamiliar condition term, ask us what it means for that exact item.
Questions about your item?
