Highlights

• Original 1460 Smooth Leather Base Under the chaos, you’ve still got the iconic 1460: an 8-eye lace-up boot cut from Dr Martens Smooth leather in clean monochrome black. It’s durable, famously stiff at first, and built to be scuffed, creased, and lived in. That classic DMS outsole and Goodyear welt construction keep things tough, so the Babylon shell feels like an upgrade, not a costume.
• Removable Ghillie Camo Overlay The Babylon ghillie overlay is a lightweight camo mesh covered in custom leaf cutouts, clipping onto D-ring loops around the boot’s base. You get full coverage that looks like urban foliage armor, yet it’s detachable, so you can strip it off for a cleaner, everyday 1460 profile. It’s a switchable personality: tactical statement one minute, low-key leather essential the next.
• Babylon Zip and Punk Details Along the side sits a zipper with a Babylon-branded pull, speeding up entry while quietly flexing the collab. That zip, the D-rings, and the ghillie system twist the classic silhouette into LA hardcore territory without losing Dr Martens DNA. It’s still set on a black DMS outsole with matching welt stitch and finished with the AirWair heel loop for unmistakable heritage.
