Highlights

• Heavyweight Cotton-Rich Fleece Built from a heavyweight, cotton‑rich fleece, the 1977 Iron Shorts feel substantial without dragging you down. The fabric has that slightly faded, lived‑in look straight out of the box, with a soft interior that wins on comfort. It holds its shape, drapes cleanly, and is sturdy enough for everyday wear and repeated washes.
• Relaxed Wide-Leg Essentials Fit Designed with Fear of God Essentials’ signature relaxed, wide‑leg silhouette, these shorts sit slightly roomy through the thigh for an effortless drape. The elastic waistband and elongated drawstring help you dial in the fit, while the above‑knee length keeps everything looking modern. Go true to size for the intended oversized vibe or downsize for a neater profile.
• Signature 1977 And Branding A velvety collegiate “1977” embroidery at the hem nods to Jerry Lorenzo’s birth year and anchors the shorts in the Essentials universe. Up top, a tonal rubber brand patch and subtle logo details keep the flex minimal but unmistakable. It is low‑key branding that feels premium in person and pairs easily with the rest of your rotation.
