Highlights
- Archival-Quality Poster with Spot Varnish Details The 24" by 36" poster is printed on 95-pound paper stock and features spot varnish applied to the crystallization points of both cars, creating tactile dimension that mirrors Arsham's sculptural work. This physical texture transforms a traditional print into an object with presence and depth, making it function as both art and collectible.
- Otto Kuhni Legacy Recreation with Modern Aesthetic The design reimagines one of Hot Wheels' original 1968 packaging illustrations by legendary artist Otto Kuhni, maintaining the dynamic racing composition while integrating Arsham's eroded aesthetic throughout. The collaboration honors vintage toy design history while pushing it forward into contemporary art territory, creating a bridge between nostalgia and innovation.
- Certificate of Authenticity with Excavation Date Every poster arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity marked with an "excavation date of 3023," extending Arsham's conceptual framework that treats these pieces as future relics. This detail reinforces the artistic vision underlying the entire collaboration, positioning the poster within Arsham's broader practice of imagining objects as archaeological discoveries.
