Highlights
- Dual-Density Midsole Cushioning ABZORB midsole absorbs impact via cushioning and compression resistance, paired with SBS for a dual-density setup that cradles every step in superior comfort. This warped pod design exaggerates the 99X platforms, delivering bounce that feels alive without bulk - perfect for urban treks or endless wear. Sway bars from the 990 lineage expand across the upper, syncing motion with that Y2K tech vibe, while the lightweight 432-gram build keeps you moving fluidly all day long.
- Tongue Logo Detail Drawing straight from the original 991 lace jewel, the embroidered tongue logo adds heritage punch to the futuristic frame. Nestled on padded mesh, it nods to New Balance's refined roots amid the 9060's exaggerated proportions and wavy overlays. Soft suede surrounds it, blending comfort with subtle storytelling - your foot's quiet flex on classic evolution, elevated for street-level rotation without shouting.
- Translucent CR Heel Device The see-through CR device at the heel injects modern flair, protruding for structure and style that catches light in Quarry Blue tones. It anchors the sculpted silhouette, complementing diamond outsole patterns from the 860 era for grip that holds on wet streets or slick floors. TPU eyelets and padded collar lock it in, turning every pivot into a statement of warped Y2K innovation.
