Highlights

• Pinnacle long-distance track design Purpose-built for long-distance track events, the Cloudspike Amplius 2 is tuned for races up to 10,000 meters, where every lap exposes weak links. The spike plate, geometry, and foam all work together so you can hold form when the field starts to fade. It balances aggressive race-day snap with just enough forgiveness to survive brutal negative splits.
• Athlete-informed track geometry The midsole and plate setup come from direct input by elite athletes who live on the track, so the geometry feels intuitive at race pace, not like something you have to fight. A nearly flat profile keeps transitions quick, while a stable platform supports confident cornering and mid-race surges. You get speed that still feels under control.
• CloudTec cushioning for speed On’s CloudTec cushioning system is engineered specifically for fast runs on the track, blending impact protection with punchy energy return. It softens landings just enough, then snaps you into the next stride without feeling mushy. Paired with a lightweight, breathable upper and 5-pin traction, it lets you chase personal bests while your legs stay surprisingly composed.
