This non-limited chronograph features a gray Bioceramic case, crown and pushers as well as a gray VELCRO® strap with contrasting light gray stitching and Bioceramic loop. It has a white dial and a black Bioceramic bezel with a white tachymeter scale. This timepiece features two unique counters at 10 and 2 o’clock. The first indicates the number 19 (normally 60) at the top, while the other displays the number 65 (normally 10), referencing the year 1965. These counters have been calibrated to total 19 hours (counter at 10 o’ clock) and 65 minutes (counter at 2 o’ clock), making the chronograph reading a bit different than the typical chronographs. The numbers 19, 65 and 60 (on the counter at 6 o’clock) glow blue under UV light, paying tribute to the OMEGA Speedmaster and the flight qualification it received from NASA, 60 years ago, in 1965. An image of the Moon can be found on the battery cover. The dials of every watch in this collection carry the OMEGA X Swatch branding, the iconic Speedmaster logo and the MoonSwatch logo. Also common to all models are the box-shaped biosourced glass construction, the etched "S" in the center of the glass referencing the Swatch logo, the fine and sophisticated circular pattern on the dial outer ring and the recessed subdials, the sharp and smooth lugs construction and of course the unique Bioceramic feel. The hour markers, hour and minute hands and the tip of the chronograph seconds hand are coated with Grade A Super-LumiNova® for a perfect glow in the dark (green emission).

Highlights

  • Historic Tribute Design Swatch and Omega collaborated to channel the spirit of 1965, referencing the legendary Speedmaster ST105.003 - the actual model NASA trusted on missions. The Moonswatch 1965 claims that era’s energy with a vintage-inspired applied Omega logo, crisp original font, and those unusually satisfying hands that mimic the first watches to leave our gravitational pull. Subtle details telegraph you know your wrist heritage.
  • Distinctive Bioceramic Case The Moonswatch 1965 doesn't just look cool - it’s made with Swatch’s signature Bioceramic, bringing a lightweight, modern twist to the vintage vibe. The steely-light grey case and matching Velcro strap play up the contrast with the white dial, nailing retro-futurism while staying impossibly comfortable. The new quick-release spring bars on the strap mean even your smallest wrist tweaks are effortless.
  • Unconventional Chronograph Counters Swatch and Omega punked usual chrono layouts by letting the subdials spell out “1965” at 10 and 2 o’clock. Here’s the wild part: the left counter tracks up to 19 hours, and the right counts 65 minutes before doing a “lap of honour.” Chronograph nerds and everyday wearers alike will dig this quirky spin, making the watch irresistibly interactive and true conversation fuel.
